Last weekend we decided to watch again the film called "The Star of Bethlehem" by Attorney Steve Larson, and I found that it's not the nativity that ought to be celebrated on December 25th, but the Epiphany! It is totally legit in my mind now, totally! All that Hislop (Alexander) wrote in his anti-Catholic diatribe (The Two Babylons) published in the 1840's and widely distributed ever since, may still be true so far as I have found! But in my determination as a trained and faithful anthropologist I cannot neglect the recent discoveries made possible by computerized "roll-backs" (apologies to Sam Walton) of celestial scenes. When a view of Jupiter's apparently coincidental retrocession and immediately prior conjunction with Venus, on the night of December 25th in the year 2 B.C. was presented to me in the weekend following Thanksgiving of 2013, and I saw the computer causing the planet to STOP over Bethlehem, well, "Ahem!" dear readers, I said, "Let's go there!"<br />No more pooh-poohing of Christmas for me.(And, retrospectively, "Sorry, boys!")Dave Funnellhttp://www.facebook.com/teachenkratnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7014627025896140523.post-18812764389997371822013-12-02T12:15:38.918-07:002013-12-02T12:15:38.918-07:00Great idea.
